HEIC to PNG converter

iPhone photos in HEIC often won't open on Windows PCs or upload forms. Pick as many HEIC files as you like. Your browser converts them on your own device, and you can download them one by one or all together as a ZIP.

How to convert HEIC to PNG

  1. Click Choose images or drag your HEIC files into the box.
  2. Adjust the size if you want. The defaults work well.
  3. Download each PNG, or Download all as a ZIP.

About HEIC

iPhones and iPads have saved photos as HEIC since iOS 11. The files are about half the size of a JPG of the same quality, which is great for your phone's storage. The catch: plenty of websites, older Windows PCs and photo printers still can't open them.

About PNG

PNG keeps every pixel exactly as it was and can store transparent areas. Great for screenshots and logos. For photos, though, the files get big.

Frequently asked questions

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Your browser does the conversion on your own computer or phone, and the images never reach our servers. That makes it safe for private photos too.

Will converting HEIC to PNG reduce quality?

No. PNG is lossless, so the PNG keeps every pixel of the decoded HEIC image. The file may be larger.

Can I convert several HEIC files at once?

Yes. Select or drop as many files as you like, then download them one by one or all together as a ZIP file.
