Compress images

Make photos smaller for e-mail, upload forms and websites. Lower the quality slider and set a maximum width: a 4,000-pixel phone photo resized to 1,600 px at 75% quality is often 90% smaller.

How it works

1. Choose your images.
2. Pick JPG or WebP output and move the quality slider (70–80% is a good balance).
3. Optionally set a maximum width, then download.

Everything runs locally in your browser using the Canvas API. HEIC decoding uses heic2any (MIT), which includes libheif (LGPL-3.0).
