Sheet #1962
Skip counting is the bridge between addition and multiplication. Counting by 5s is also how we read a clock.
Tips for practicing
- Say the sequence out loud with a rhythm, or clap on each number.
- Look for patterns in the ones digit (counting by 5s ends in 5, 0, 5, 0...).
- Counting by 3s and 4s is the multiplication table in disguise.
